Former Andhra Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu (N Chandrababu Naidu) was arrested on Saturday morning. Telugu Desam Party has given information about this. According to police sources, he is being sent to Vijayawada jail. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) took action against Naidu on Saturday morning in a corruption case. A case was registered against Naidu in 2021. It is said that Chandrababu Naidu's son and TDP leader Nara Lokesh has been detained by the police in the East Godavari district.

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was arrested under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Former Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu was arrested at 6 am today. A case has been registered against him under IPC sections 120(B), 166, 167, 418, 420, 465, 468, 201, 109 as well as 34 and 37.

Telugu Desam Party shared a video of former Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu on social media. On the other hand, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's lawyer says that after detecting high blood pressure and sugar, CID has taken Chandrababu for medical examination. The lawyer said that he was knocking on the door of the High Court for the bail of the former CM.

Before going into police custody, Chandrababu Naidu said that I have not done any corruption. CID arrested me without any proper information and I asked them to show me the evidence. But they refused to show evidence and added my name to the FIR without my role.
