For the past several days, people have been facing problems due to floods and mudslides due to torrential rains in the state and no relief is being provided. The death toll from floods and mudslides caused by torrential rains in Rio Grande do Sul has reached 147. There is a possibility that the death toll will increase further.

Due to floods brought on by intense rains in Rio Grande do Sul, approximately 127 people are still unaccounted for. The missing persons' search is still ongoing.

In Rio Grande do Sul, flooding and mudslides brought on by intense rains have injured about 806 people. Additionally, this has caused about 5 lakh people to lose their homes and be displaced.
