First donkeys and terrorists, now Pakistan is sending beggars abroad by forming gangs, how did the country get ruined?
A report shared by Middle East countries to Pakistan states that 90 percent of the beggars arrested here are Pakistanis. Beggars are leaving the country by forming groups. They often travel in boats.

The situation in Pakistan is so bad that people are preferring to become beggars abroad instead of living here. This has been revealed by a report shared by Middle East countries to Pakistan. Government reports say that 90 percent of the beggars arrested in the Middle East are Pakistanis.
Earlier, Pakistan has been in trouble for terrorism and export of donkeys. The recent misdeeds of Pakistanis have once again put it to shame. In such a situation, we should know what report has come regarding Pakistani beggars? How are these beggars reaching abroad? Why is the condition of Pakistan so bad?
First let us know what report has come regarding Pakistani beggars?
Gangs of professional beggars have always been notorious on the streets and squares of Pakistan. However, the gang has now crossed the seven seas and has become a matter of increasing concern in countries like Saudi Arabia, Iraq and beyond. The reason for this concern is a report shared with Pakistani Members of Parliament (Senators).
According to this, 90 percent of the professional beggars arrested in Middle Eastern countries are from Pakistan. The report also said that Pakistani nationals are indulging in crimes like pickpocketing around Mecca Masjid in Saudi Arabia.
How are the beggars reaching abroad?
Recently, a meeting of the Standing Committee of Overseas Pakistanis was held under the chairmanship of Senator Manzoor Kakkar. During the meeting, Secretary of Overseas Pakistanis Zulfikar Haider expressed concern over the lack of action to resolve the issue. Along with this, Haider also made a shocking revelation.
According to revelations, beggars are leaving Pakistan by forming groups. They often travel in boats and then take advantage of Umrah and travel visas to beg from Haj pilgrims in foreign countries. Secretary Haider expressed concern that a large number of Pakistani beggars are now living in jails in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, which is tarnishing the image of Pakistanis abroad.
Haider said the most worrying aspect of this incident is the loss of confidence among overseas Pakistanis. He lamented that Pakistanis abroad were being viewed with suspicion, leading to an increasing number of deportations. Haider said that Iraq and Saudi Arabia constantly complain that we are sending criminals to their countries and their jails are full of Pakistani beggars. This is also a serious issue of human trafficking.
Unlike Pakistan, countries like India send skilled workers abroad: Pakistani MP
In the same meeting, MP Rana Mahmudul Hasan raised another issue. The issue was the under-representation of Pakistani skilled workers abroad. Hasan compared Pakistan's performance in sending skilled professionals to countries like Japan. The MP said that neighboring countries like India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have made important contributions by sending skilled workers to Japan. In contrast, Pakistan has sent only 200 persons to Japan.
Hasan stressed the urgent need for Pakistan to increase its efforts to provide skilled labour. The MP said that Pakistan has 50 thousand unemployed engineers. Now is the time to focus on sending skilled workers abroad.
Is increasing poverty in the country the reason?
Meanwhile, Pakistani analysts have claimed that the majority of Pakistanis working abroad are involved in low-paying occupations. This means that these people live with low wages and may be forced to beg in desperation if they lose their jobs.
However, increasing poverty in Pakistan also cannot be ignored. Poverty in the country increased to 39.4 percent in the last financial year. Government figures show that due to poor economic condition, more than 1.25 crore Pakistanis have fallen into poverty.
Pakistan has already come into limelight for the export of donkeys.
Before sending beggars abroad, Pakistan has come into limelight for exporting donkeys. In fact, according to the Pakistan Economic Survey (PES) for 2022-23, the population of donkeys in the country is expected to increase from 57 lakh to 58 lakh in 2022. This happened due to China's demand. Pakistan is continuously exporting donkeys to China.
