Before his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, former US President and Republican Party's presidential candidate Donald Trump and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed with each other. Actually, letters were exchanged between the two leaders. In the discussion between the two leaders, Trump told Mahmoud Abbas that 'everything will be fine'. Trump wrote on his social media platform 'Truth Social', 'Eagerly waiting to meet Netanyahu on Friday, and even more looking forward to establishing peace in the Middle East!'

Donald Trump was attacked during a rally in Pennsylvania on July 13, in which Trump narrowly escaped and the bullet passed through his ear. After the attack on Trump, on July 14, the next day, Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas wrote a letter to Trump, in which Abbas expressed concern over the attack on Trump and wished him a speedy recovery. Trump also shared Abbas's letter on social media. In this letter, Abbas wrote, 'I have received news of your assassination attempt and later I also saw its footage. I am very worried about you.'

Abbas wrote in his letter that violence should not find a place in the world of law and order. Tolerance and respect for others along with the importance of human life should prevail. Abbas wrote, 'Differences should be resolved through communication with freedom of expression.' Trump also responded to this letter and Trump also shared his response on social media. Trump wrote, 'Mahmoud, very good. Thank you. Everything will be fine.' It is worth noting that Trump is scheduled to meet Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu at Mar a Lago in Palm Beach, Florida on Friday.

Trump wrote that during my first term, we achieved peace and stability in the region and also signed the historic Abraham Accord. We will take steps in this direction again. I have said in discussions with President Zelensky and other world leaders in recent weeks that 'my agenda of peace through strength will show the world that terrible and deadly wars must be ended.
