EDII report claims, Ayodhya will be among the best cities in the world in ten years
Ayodhya: The EDII report says that Ayodhya is being developed keeping in mind 27 different points. This will make Ayodhya one of the best cities in the world in the coming times.
With the very first monsoon rain, the city of Ayodhya got waterlogged. This raised serious questions over the efficiency of all the agencies involved in developing Ayodhya. However, the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Ahmedabad, has stated in its report that Ayodhya will be within the list of the world's best cities within the next decade. This city will be placed among the best destinations for tourism where, other than religious tourism, all facilities for the people's entertainment are found.
This will include, the city's lighting through solar energy, the running of boating, and other services with the help of solar energy, which ensures minimum carbon emission in the city.
Ayodhya is being developed by keeping 27 different points in view. This is stated in the EDII report, according to which Ayodhya will be included among the world's best cities over time. Here, the best tourism facilities shall be available. The state government shall spend schemes worth about Rs 85 thousand crore for developing the infrastructure of this city.
The EDI has mentioned in its study that the city shall encompass roads and parking, doubling of rail lines, railway station, bus station, airport, Guptar Ghat, temple museum, wax museum, evening lake, Ayodhya market, redevelopment and beautification of 37 religious places, organization of cultural programs at 25 mythological and 39 crossings, water sports with a sound light show and operation of the cruise in Saryu, the establishment of 500 prefab toilets on the ghats of Saryu, development of parikrama routes, beautification and redevelopment of various temples, weather forecast in 140 languages, operation of solar boats, guide boards in 28 languages, helicopter facility, e-cart facility, wheelchairs for people with disabilities and older people, construction of rail overbridge and Laxman Path, the establishment of solid waste treatment plant, cafeteria and open theatre facilities and deployment of Safai Mitras among other projects like street lights. In the report, it has claimed that city projects are world-class. For this, an international airport and international bus station are being developed in Ayodhya. The work of the first phase is completed. Keeping modern standards in view, Ayodhya Dham Junction railway station has been redeveloped to facilitate seamless connectivity with major cities across the country.
