Earthquake in Indonesia, magnitude 5.4 on Richter scale

Cases of earthquakes are increasing all across the world. They occur somewhere or the other every day. There are some countries in which earthquakes happen every day and Indonesia is also one of these countries. Today, Wednesday, July 17, once again an earthquake hit Indonesia of magnitude 5.4 on the Richter scale. This earthquake occurred in Indonesia 109 kilometers Eastern Southeast of Bitung. According to Indian time, a strong earthquake hit Indonesia today at morning 5:09.

The magnitude of the earthquake in Indonesia today was 10 kilometers in depth.

Today's earthquake tremor in Indonesia was felt in that particular area and surroundings; however, no damage has been reported due to the earthquake.
