Earth shook due to earthquake on South West Indian Ridge, 6.2 intensity recorded
Earthquake news: Even before this, the earth had trembled in the upper areas of Shimla and Kullu including the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday.

According to the information given by the National Seismology Centre, the intensity of this earthquake was 6.2 on the Richter scale. However, there is no information about any damage or loss of life. If an earthquake occurs on the 6 to 6.9 Richter scale, the foundation of buildings can crack. Tremors have been felt greatly in Himachal. In which Chamba is considered to be the epicentre of the earthquake. Due to being a hilly area, earthquakes in Himachal create a situation of fear among the local people. In such a situation, one should be patient.
