Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the nation ascended the steps of the recently built Ram temple to dedicate Ramlala. He did so while the sound of the Mangal murmur was playing. The ritual of consecration was completed by taking a resolution within 84 seconds of the Abhijeet Muhurta. Then, as mantras were being chanted, he entered the temple's sanctum sanctorum to finish the last of the rites. On this occasion, the statue of Lord Ram was also unveiled.
