Condition of the airplane became like that of the railway! Indigo flight's AC malfunctions, passengers forced to wipe sweat with tissue paper
Indigo Flight News: The condition of the flight has also become like that of the railways. The AC of an Indigo flight coming from Chandigarh to Jaipur was damaged. Due to this, people were seen traveling for 90 minutes after being drenched in sweat. During this, people were seen wiping sweat with tissue paper.

Incidents of passengers getting upset due to AC failure during rail travel are frequent, but this is probably the first time that passengers get upset due to AC failure in a flight. It may sound strange but it is true. In fact, the flight is still considered a royal journey in India. It is assumed that you will get basic amenities like AC, electricity, water, and breakfast when you are booking flight tickets. But this is probably the first time that passengers had to travel drenched in sweat due to a faulty AC on a flight. Actually, this is the case of an Indigo flight coming from Chandigarh to Jaipur. Information about this matter came to light when Punjab Congress leader Amarinder Singh Raja shared his experience while sharing the video inside the flight on social media.
Punjab Congress Committee President Amarinder Singh Raja on Saturday (August 5, 2023) told his horrifying experience of traveling on an Indigo flight. He told that the AC was not working on the flight from Chandigarh to Jaipur, due to which the 90-minute journey was difficult for the people. In the video shared by Amarinder Singh Raja from inside the flight, passengers are seen wiping sweat with tissue paper.
It is being told that the video shared on social media is of Indigo flight 6E7261. Amarinder Singh Raja told that first the passengers were made to wait in line for 10-15 minutes in the scorching sun and then the flight took off without AC. According to the Congress leader, the AC did not work in the flight till take-off and landing and the passengers continued to worry during the entire journey.
He says that the passengers kept getting upset but no one considered it necessary to pay attention to this issue, on the contrary, air hostesses were comfortably distributing tissue paper to wipe the sweat. Passengers are seen blowing air in the video.
Amarinder Singh Raja posted this video tagging the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Airport Authority of India (AAI) on Twitter and demanded strict action. Now it has to be seen what action DGCA takes in this matter.
