Christmas will be celebrated in Ukraine on 25th December after 100 years, know the reason

Today, on 25th December, Christmas will be celebrated in many places across the world. Although not everyone celebrates the festival of Christmas. It is a festival of Christians but many other people also celebrate this day. Different people celebrate Christmas in different ways. And this year Ukraine will also celebrate the festival of Christmas on this day. Normally in Ukraine, Christmas is celebrated not on 25th December but on 7th January, but this time Ukraine has decided to celebrate Christmas on 25th December.

the Julian calendar is considered in Ukraine. This calendar is also considered in Russia. Whereas in most of the other countries of the world, the Gregorian calendar is considered. According to the Julian calendar, Christmas is celebrated on 7 January and according to the Gregorian calendar, Christmas is celebrated on 25 December. In such a situation, for years Russia and Ukraine have celebrated Christmas on 7 January. But due to war, this time Ukraine has decided to celebrate the Christmas festival on 25th December.

This will be the first time in 100 years that Ukraine will celebrate Christmas not on January 7 but on December 25.
