China's big cyber attack on America's Infrastructure

The United States of America and China are considered the world's two biggest superpowers. Both the developed countries have had a rivalry for a long time which has now gone above the level of rivalry. Relations between the US and China have soured in the last few years. This can cause a lot of damage to America.

Recently, US intelligence agencies and tech company Microsoft have informed that some hackers from China have carried out a major cyber attack on US infrastructure. According to the information, the Chinese hackers who have carried out this cyber attack from China have got full support from the Chinese government.

While giving information about the US intelligence agencies as well as the intelligence agencies of some other countries, Microsoft has said that a hacking group named Volt Typhoon is responsible for cyber attacks on US infrastructure from China. This hacking group has been active in such activities since mid-2021.

According to information, China's hacking group Volt Typhoon attacked the communications infrastructure of America. The purpose of these hackers was mainly to influence the work of US investigative agencies and the US military and to steal important information. Through a cyber attack, Volt Typhoon tried to gain access to America's communications infrastructure. Nothing can be said about how successful he got in this, but if true, it can be a serious issue.

China termed the claim of the cyber attack on US infrastructure as baseless. China denied this claim, calling it political propaganda.
