Karnataka News: CBI will now investigate the scam worth crores of rupees in three cooperative banks of Karnataka. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Saturday that the government has approved handing over the investigation into the scams of Sri Guru Raghavendra Cooperative Bank Limited, Vashishtha Credit Souharda Cooperative Limited, and Guru Sovereign Souharda Credit Cooperative Limited to the CBI on the orders of the government.

CBI will now investigate the scam worth crores of rupees in three cooperative banks in Karnataka. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday said the government has approved handing over the investigation into the scams of Sri Guru Raghavendra Cooperative Bank Limited, Vashishtha Credit Souharda Cooperative Limited, and Guru Sovereign Souharda Credit Cooperative Limited to the CBI.

The government order states that CBI officials will investigate the fraud worth crores of rupees committed by the directors, chief executive officers, and employees of the management boards of co-operative banks. In the order, the concerned officers and employees of the bank have been asked to hand over the documents and records to the CBI.

CM Siddaramaiah said thousands of depositors had invested their life savings in the bank for children's marriage, buying a house, and for the future. Due to the fraud of bankers, everyone has become worried about their future.
