Bullish trend continued in the share market on the last day of the month, Sensex rose by 118 points and Nifty by 55 points

The stock market opened on the green mark on 30 November 2023 (Thursday). Today, along with BSE and Nifty, other indices also opened with a rise. After this, this period of ups and downs continued. Today the Sensex rose 118.2 points to reach 67,020.11. Nifty rose 39.55 points to 20,136.15.

After this, both the benchmark indices gave up all the early gains and were trading lower. Today Sensex fell 214.84 points to 66,687.07 and Nifty fell 55.80 points to 20,040.80.

Among Sensex companies, shares of UltraTech Cement, Mahindra & Mahindra, Axis Bank, Wipro, Hindustan Unilever, Sun Pharma, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Larsen & Toubro are trading with gains. Shares of Tata Steel, Reliance Industries, Tata Motors, and NTPC are trading in the red.

In Asian markets, Shanghai and Hong Kong were trading with gains, while Seoul and Tokyo were in negative territory. On Wednesday, US markets closed mostly with losses.

Global oil benchmark Brent crude fell 0.18 percent to US$82.95 per barrel. According to exchange data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought equities worth Rs 71.91 crore on Wednesday.

Today the rupee opened with a slight rise against the dollar. In the foreign exchange market, the rupee opened at 83.31 against the dollar and traded in the range of 83.29 to 83.32. It later traded at 83.30 against the greenback, registering a rise of 2 paise over its previous close. After gaining 6 paise on Tuesday, the rupee closed 2 paise higher at 83.32 against the US dollar on Wednesday.
