Bookings of this SUV priced below 6 lakhs crossed 50,000, 75% demand for sunroof

The country's leading carmaker Hyundai Motor India has announced that its recently launched entry-level SUV EXTER has crossed 50,000 bookings. You will be surprised to know that in this entire bookings, 75% only the Sunroof model has got bookings. That is, the craze for sunroof vehicles in India is continuously increasing. Apart from this, the automatic version of EXTER is also getting good bookings. The price of this SUV starts from Rs. 5.99 lakhs. It was launched in India on 10 July. This vehicle not only has good features but also many such features which are best in class and first in the segment.

With a length of less than four meters, this EXTER impresses on the basis of its design. Talking about the engine, it is powered by a 1.2L Kappa petrol engine that produces 83 PS of power and 113.8 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.

The company claims that it offers a mileage of 19.4 kmpl. You can also buy EXTER in CNG. With the CNG kit, it returns a claimed mileage of 27.1 kmpl. The design of the new Xeter is sporty and bold and has the potential to appeal to the youth. Its ground clearance is 180 mm and it also gets 319 liters of boot space, it gets an 8-inch infotainment system.

Apart from this, for safety, it also gets 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts, a seat belt reminder, an electric sunroof with voice command, and a dashcam with a dual-lens. It performs better in the city and on the highway. The ex-showroom price of the new Exter starts from Rs. 5.99 lakhs.
