Big gift on Chhath: LPG cylinder becomes cheaper, new rate applicable from today

Chhath festival is celebrated across the country from today. The government has given a big gift on this special occasion. Petroleum companies have reduced the prices of LPG cylinders. Just before the festival of Chhath, commercial gas cylinders became cheaper by Rs 57. With the reduction in the price of LPG cylinders, their prices have decreased from Delhi to Mumbai. The new prices have come into effect from today itself. After this, the price of a 19 kg blue commercial gas cylinder has become Rs 1775.50 in Delhi. Even before the festival of Chhath, petroleum companies have reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. Only after this, commercial cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 57.50 in Delhi. Now a 19 kg blue commercial gas cylinder is available for Rs 1775.50 in the capital. Its price on November 1 was Rs 1833. Its price has now become Rs 1885.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1728 in Mumbai, and Rs 1942 in Chennai. Earlier it was available at Rs 1943 in Kolkata, Rs 1785.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 1999.50 in Chennai.
On November 1, the government increased the price of commercial gas cylinders by Rs 101.50. Before that in October, a commercial gas cylinder was available for Rs 1731.50 in Delhi, Rs 1839.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1684 in Mumbai, and Rs 1898 in Chennai. However, the price of domestic LPG gas cylinders has not changed since the month of August.
