BHEL informed the stock market that Adani Group has placed an order for two power units totaling Rs 7,000 crore. The Adani Group has placed the first order for the 2x800 MW Raipur Supercritical Thermal Power Plant, which is being built in the Raipur area of Chhattisgarh.

Earlier on June 5, 2024, Adani Group had also given an order of about Rs 3,500 crore to BHEL.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited told the stock market that it has signed a contract agreement for the supply of equipment for the power plant and supervision of construction and commissioning. BHEL has received orders for both i.e. supercritical thermal power plant and Haridwar plant.

BHEL is a government company. Its stock has performed well. The company has given a return of 266.13 percent in the last 1 year. At the same time, in the last 6 months, the company's shares have climbed by Rs 125.60.
