Bajaj Pulsar N160 single-channel ABS variant discontinued
Low sales became the reason, now the bike will be available only with dual-channel ABS. Bajaj Auto has discontinued the single-channel variant of Pulsar N160. In media reports, the reason for discontinuing this variant of the bike has been cited as low sales.

The company launched the bike in two variants last year. Its single-channel ABS variant was priced at Rs 1.23 lakh and dual-channel ABS variant was priced at Rs 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
According to the information received from dealers, there is a difference of only Rs 5,000 in the price of both the variants of the bike. Due to this, most of the customers preferred to buy dual-channel ABS variants, due to which the demand for single-channel ABS variants has declined. For this reason, Bajaj has stopped the production of single-channel ABS variant of N160.
Currently Pulsar N160 is available with dual-channel ABS. It will be available in Caribbean Blue, Racing Red and segment first Brooklyn Black color shades. In India, this bike competes with Yamaha FZ, Honda SP160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Suzuki Gixxer.
