AI vs Human: ChatGPT could not solve the new coding problem, it is impossible to replace humans

AI vs Human: The success of AI ranged from a minimum of 0.66 percent to 89 percent. This report indicates that ChatGPT can sometimes match or even surpass human programmers, but it also has some limitations.

AI vs Human: ChatGPT could not solve the new coding problem, it is impossible to replace humans

ChatGPT came in between these years and was launched in the year 2022. ChatGPT is an AI tool based on a large language model that can answer human questions as though another human posed them. It is suggested that ChatGPT will eliminate humane needs. It will eradicate humane jobs. ChatGPT was said to be capable of writing any kind of code. In such a situation, developers will not be needed in the future, but now a new report has put an end to this speculation.

This replaced the original piece, published in IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, that placed code produced via ChatGPT libraries and the code written by a programmer side by side in terms of complexity and security parameters. The study concluded that ChatGPT delivered innovative code from 15% to 75% of the time.

Success rates varied from 0.66 to a high of 89% success, depending on the task difficulty, the programming language used, and other aspects of the tasks. In general, the report states that ChatGPT can sometimes match and potentially exceed human programmers, but it also has a few drawbacks.

According to Yutian Tang, a lecturer at the University of Glasgow involved in the study, AI-based code offers enhanced productivity through its capacity to automate most tasks in software development. Meanwhile, he also unfolds the point that people need to understand: the strong and weak points in work done with these AI models. Tang highlighted the need for comprehensive analysis that identifies possible issues and techniques to improve AI-generated code.
