Actor wanted to apologize before Rajesh Khanna's death, said - 'I received criticism'

In certain cases, it's best to apologise right away if a relationship has soured. Celebrities from Bollywood are now regretting this exact action. He recently made some shocking admissions in an interview, saying that he wanted to apologise to actor Rajesh Khanna and talked extensively about him.
This was disclosed by well-known actor Shatrughan Sinha. In an interview, she was candid about her relationship with Rajesh Khanna. Shatrughan Sinha and Rajesh Khanna's friendship had some rough patches in the early 1990s. Shatrughan Sinha asked why Rajesh Khanna was angry with him. He also said that he wanted to fill this rift by apologizing but by then it was too late. He said that due to politics, many such differences had arisen which he wanted to resolve but could not do so and will always regret this.
While revealing in an interview, Shatrughan Sinha said that Rajesh Khanna and Shatrughan Sinha were faces to face in a by-election in 1992. And this is where relations turned sour.
He said, 'We fought against each other in the Delhi elections.' He further said, 'They thought - how come you stood against me. He was not personally challenging Rajesh Khanna but it was the party's decision. Tried to explain this to him but he did not understand it. I said- I am not fighting against you. The political party decides who will fight from where.
Shatrughan Sinha further said that despite this their relationship was not as normal as before. He wanted his relationship with Rajesh to be completely like before. He said 'When he was in the hospital, I wanted to go and apologize to him.' But the sad thing is that he passed away before I could do so.
After this, he said, 'After a few years, both of us were admitted to the hospital. I often told my daughter Sonakshi that I would go to meet her when I was discharged. But unfortunately, I could not meet him and apologize. Sonakshi had told me that Rajesh Khanna's uncle is no more. Let us tell you that Rajesh Khanna, suffering from liver disease, breathed his last in 2012.
