YouTube Guidelines: Rules for AI videos changed, creators got superpower
YouTube Guidelines: Transparency in video content is important. Especially when elections are going on or there is violence somewhere or there is a health emergency or even a matter related to celebrities. YouTube's new guidelines will be implemented in the coming months, in which creators will have to clearly label AI-generated content.

Many tech companies are bringing new rules regarding content with Artificial Intelligence (AI). YouTube has now changed its guidelines for AI videos. YouTube has released new guidelines regarding AI-generated content. According to the new guidelines, content creators will have to tell whether the video they have uploaded is made using AI or not. YouTube will also allow users to request to remove any specific videos with AI, that is, if you feel that a video is made with AI and there is no AI label with it, then you can complain about it.
It is critical to provide transparency in video material. Especially when elections are taking place, there is violence somewhere, there is a medical emergency, or there is a celebrity issue. YouTube's new restrictions, which require producers to prominently mark AI-generated material, will go live in the coming months.
YouTube will add prominent labels to the video player and description panel to highlight that the content was made or altered using AI technology. Its objective is to protect viewers from being deceived by AI-generated content. Labels alone will not solve many problems.
In such a situation, YouTube has said that if mixed videos are seen that violate the guidelines, then they will be removed from the platform regardless of labeling. Creators will get 48 hours to violate the guidelines. During this time the video will have to be removed or it will have to be trimmed or blurred. These tools will be available in YouTube Studio itself.
