X launches two new subscription plans
You will have to pay ₹ 244 every month for the basic plan and ₹ 1300 for Premium+.
Social media platform X has launched two new subscription plans. One of these is an ad free plan, which the company has named Premium+. For Premium+ plan, users will have to pay ₹ 1300 every month. The second is the 'Basic' plan, for which users will have to pay Rs 243.75 every month.
However, currently both these plans are available only on the website. Apart from this, users can also subscribe to the already existing premium subscription plan by paying ₹ 650 every month. Users' accounts in Premium and Premium+ plans will get a checkmark. While checkmark will not be available in the basic plan, but you will be able to use many features of the platform.
Users with premium plans will see less ads
Only users with Premium+ plans on X will not see ads. Users with premium plans will see fewer ads. Whereas, there will be no restriction on the ads appearing on the timeline of users with basic plan.

Recently Elon Musk had said that X can charge monthly fees from all its users. Musk said this in a live program with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. Musk had said that this would get rid of bots.
The company currently has about 55 crore users, who post 1 to 2 crore posts daily. However, Musk did not give information about how many authentic users and how many bots there are in X.

Elon Musk has launched Blue Subscription worldwide. Blue subscription cost for web users in India is Rs 650. The subscription charge for mobile is Rs 900 per month. Many features are available in it including blue tick, long video post.
4. Character limit increased, limit for reading posts
Musk has increased the character limit of posts from 280 to 25,000. Limit for reading posts has also been applied. Verified users can read ten thousand posts in a day. Unverified users can read one thousand posts, while new unverified users can read only 500 posts daily.
5.Platform name and logo changed to X
On July 24, 2023, Elon Musk changed the name and logo of 'Twitter' to X. After this, late night on July 26, a small change was made in the logo design. The X logo was made bolder and sharper. Musk had said, the logo will develop with time.
