Indore : Laying a railway line between Patalpani and Balwada is the most difficult task in Madhya Pradesh, according to Indian Railways. The 64.95 km stretch of the line passes through hilly terrain and dense forests, making it challenging to construct.

The project is being undertaken by the Western Railway and is expected to cost around Rs 1,500 crore. The line is expected to be completed by 2025.

In an interview to TrendTrackers, the General Manager of Western Railway, Sudhir Kumar Hota, said that the project is facing several challenges, including the difficult terrain, the presence of wildlife, and the acquisition of land.

"The terrain is very difficult in this area. There are hills, forests, and rivers. We have to build tunnels and bridges to lay the railway line," Hota said.

"We are also facing a challenge in acquiring land for the project. The land owners are demanding a high price for their land," he added.

Despite the challenges, Hota is confident that the project will be completed on time. "We are working hard to overcome the challenges. We are confident that the project will be completed by 2025," he said.

The railway line between Patalpani and Balwada will be a major boost for the development of the region. It will connect the industrial areas of Patalpani and Balwada to the national rail network. The line will also help in the transportation of goods and passengers.
