The cabinet meeting was held on Wednesday (September 13) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many important decisions were taken during this period. In the meeting, it was decided to provide 75 lakh new LPG connections in the next 3 financial years under the Ujjwala scheme. These connections will be distributed by the year 2025-26. Union Minister Anurag Thakur has given information about the decisions taken during the meeting.

So far 9 crore 60 lakh connections have been given under this scheme. Under this, apart from free LPG connection, refilling of the first cylinder will also be free. Apart from this, gas stove is also given free of cost.

Necessary eligibility to apply for Ujjwala scheme

  • The applicant must be female.
  • The age of the woman should be above 18 years.
  • The woman should be from BPL family.
  • The woman should have BPL card and ration card.
  • LPG connection should not be in the name of any family member of the applicant.
  • No need to submit address proof
  • To avail the benefits of Ujjwala scheme, migrants will not need to submit ration card and address proof. Needy families can now avail the benefits of this scheme by giving their self-verified application.

How can you apply?

  • To avail the benefits of the scheme, you will have to visit the official website pmuy.gov.in/ujjwala2.html.
  • Here a download form option will appear in front of you.
  • After downloading this form here, fill all the information asked in the form.
  • Now you will have to submit this form at the LPG center.
  • Also submit the documents related to this there.
  • After this, after the documents are verified, you will get the LPG connection.
  • Phase 3 of e-court mission approved
  • Anurag Thakur told about the second decision that Phase 3 of E-courts Mission Mode Project worth Rs 7,120 crore has been approved. Its aim is to create online and paperless courts. This will make the judicial system more transparent. For paperless courts, e-filing and e-payment systems will be made universal. Cloud storage will be created to store the data. 4,400 e-service centers will be created in all court premises.
