Terrorism has spread manifolds in Pakistan. For quite a long period, Pakistan has not only been sheltering terrorism but also geared up support for undertaking terrorist activities against other nations. However, it now seems that terrorism has emerged as a massive problem in the country as well. Instances of terrorist attacks continue to come to the fore in Pakistan every day. Another such incident took place on Monday. Monday early morning, 10 terrorists attacked a Pakistani army camp in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. There was heavy firing between the Pakistani army and the terrorists.
The Pakistani army contingent started to gain the better of the terrorists. In such a situation, the terrorists rammed the explosive vehicle into the wall of the army camp. This caused a huge explosion.
This blast collapsed the wall of that camp. Apart from this, the infrastructure of the camp was also damaged. In the blast, 8 soldiers of the Pakistani army were killed.
The Pakistani army retaliated to the attack of the terrorists. All 10 terrorists were killed in the retaliatory action by the army. According to the available information, these terrorists were from a terrorist organization named Hafiz Gul Bahadur. However, this organization has not yet taken responsibility for the attack.
Pakistani PM Shahbaz Sharif vehemently denounced the terrorist attack at a Pakistan Army camp in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and condoled the death of soldiers. Shahbaz Sharif also lauded the killing of terrorists by the army, having foiled their attempt to make this attack more serious and destructive.
