Social media platform Due to this, users are not able to see the post. Users around the world, including India, have been facing problems accessing X since around 11 am on Thursday. Instead of the post, users are seeing a message which reads 'Welcome to X'.
This has affected both desktop and mobile versions of the platform. Many people reported X being down on the outage tracking website downdetector.com. According to Downdetector, there have been over 70,000 reports of not being able to use the platform. At this time, there is no information about the cause of this problem.
According to Statista, X has about 330 million users worldwide. It has 9.5 crore users in America and 2.7 crore users in India. About 50 crore posts are made every day. It was launched in July 2006. On October 27, 2022, Elon Musk bought it for $44 billion. As of today, this amount is around Rs 3.6 lakh crore.
Earlier this year also X was down in March and July. Even then users were having trouble viewing and posting posts. Users from various countries including America, the UK, Japan and India had complained about the outage.
