Share Market Open: After the initial rise, the market reached the red mark, Sensex is trading down by 44 points and Nifty by 7 points
Share Market Open: There was a rise in the stock markets in the initial trade on the second day of trading but after some time both the indices started trading in the red. Till the time of writing the news, Sensex was trading 44.50 points down at 64068.15 and Nifty was trading 7.85 points down at 19133.05. The stock market gained in early trading on the second day of the trading week. Sensex rose 339.67 points in early trade at 64,452.32, while Nifty traded at 19,233.70 with a rise of 92.8 points.
But after some time, both the indices traded flat and reached the red mark. Till the time of writing the news, Sensex is trading 44.50 points down at 64,068.15 and Nifty is trading down 7.85 points at 19,133.05.
Currently, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finserv, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, State Bank of India, Power Grid, ITC, and HDFC Bank are the top gainers in the Sensex.
Whereas shares of Bharti Airtel, UltraTech Cement, Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, JSW Steel, and Maruti were the top losers.
Shares of SBI Life, HDFC Life, Asian Paints, Dr Reddy's Lab, Bajaj Auto, and Tata Motors were the top gainers.
Whereas shares of Sun Pharma, ONGC, LTIMindtree, Eicher Motors, Infosys, M&M, Britannia, and Bharti Airtel were the top losers.
In Asian markets, Tokyo remained in the green, while Seoul, Shanghai, and Hong Kong were trading down. Yesterday i.e. on Monday, American markets closed with a huge gain.
Global oil benchmark Brent crude rose 0.41 percent to US$87.81 per barrel. According to exchange data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold equities worth Rs 1,761.86 crore on Monday.
Let us tell you that on Monday, Sensex rose by 329.85 points to close at 64,112.65 and Nifty rose by 93.65 points to close at 19,140.90.
