In Sudan, the war between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) began on April 15, 2018. The war is not over yet. Sudan sees periodic outbreaks of violence. Thousands of people have died as a result of this war, and millions more have been displaced. People continue to live in difficult circumstances. Sudan's food crisis has gotten worse as a result of the ongoing violence there. Crores of people are facing a food shortage. Meanwhile, on Monday, Rapid Support Forces attacked civilians in Al Fashir, Sudan's North Darfur capital.

On Monday, Rapid Support Forces attacked the camp market in the Abu Shouk area in Al Fashir, the capital of Sudan's North Darfur state, by firing 4 shells, causing panic among the people. 25 people died in this attack.

30 people were also injured in this attack by Rapid Support Forces. The injured have been admitted to the health centers of the Abu Shouk area, Saudi Hospital, and Army Medical Corps Hospital for treatment.
