Not only mobile, Threads will soon be used on PC too, Meta may launch web version next week
If you use Meta's newly launched text-based app threads then this new update can be of your use. In fact, very soon it will be possible to use threads on PC as well as mobile. While so far only a few threads post are open on PC, users are going to get full access very soon.
Meta's newly launched text-based platform threads will soon be possible to use with the web version as well. In fact, according to media reports, the web version of threads is being launched by Meta for the users next week itself.
However, the report states that the meta text platform may launch the web version for threads as early as next week, but changes can be made at the last moment regarding this plan.
It is known that threads can be used only by Android and iOS users. Talking about threads on PC, users currently get the facility to open some threads posted on the web.
Access to threads on PC is not yet available. Actually, threads have been designed for mobile users only.
Last week, Instagram head Adam Mosseri also agreed to bring the web version of threads. Adam Mosseri told that the web version of threads is in the testing stage. During that time Adam Mosseri had said that the web version of threads can be brought to the users in 1 to 2 weeks.
Text-based platform Threads has been launched by Meta on 5th July. Threads was introduced as a rival to the X handle (formerly Twitter). Meta's new app was also well received in the beginning.
In just 5 days of launching, Threads had crossed 100 million monthly active users. However, now a decrease in the number of active users of threads is being recorded.
