According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Ambani has reached 12th position in terms of wealth. His wealth has increased by more than $2.76 billion in a day. With this increase in wealth, he has also achieved the title of Asia's richest person, leaving behind billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani.
Reliance shares have seen a sharp rise in the last few trading sessions, Mukesh Ambani's net worth has increased by $ 5.47 billion in the new year. Shares of RIL (Reliance Industries Limited) have registered a rise of about three per cent in the last five trading sessions. During this period, the total market capitalization of the company has reached Rs 18.40 lakh crore. The company's shares saw an increase of 12 per cent in the last month.
Shares of recently demerged NBFC RIL and Jio Financial Services (JFSL) have contributed significantly to Mukesh Ambani's wealth. The market capitalization of JFSL reached close to Rs 1.6 lakh crore in the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday. Other companies associated with Ambani's portfolio also performed well.
Tesla's Elon Musk continues to top the list of the world's richest people with a net worth of $212 billion. However, since the beginning of 2024, his wealth has decreased by $17 billion.
