From today, 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has become costlier by Rs 209. From today, you will have to pay Rs 1731.50 for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in the country's capital Delhi. With this, the bill for eating food outside the home in hotels or restaurants may increase. However, there has been no change in the price of the domestic gas cylinders. On the first of every month, oil companies change the prices of gas cylinders.

Festivals like Navratri, and Dussehra are falling in this month. Even before these festivals, oil companies have given a shock to inflation by increasing the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders. Earlier, the companies had reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 157 from September 1.

After the latest increase of Rs 209, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will now be Rs 1,731.50 in New Delhi from October 1. If we talk about metros other than Delhi, in Kolkata a 19 kg cylinder will not be available for Rs 1636 but will now be available for Rs 1839.50. In Mumbai, its price has increased from Rs 1482 to Rs 1684, while in Chennai it will be available for Rs 1898.

Actually, oil companies have increased the prices of 19 kg LPG commercial gas cylinders by a huge Rs 209. This increase has come into effect from October 1. However, oil companies have given relief to domestic gas cylinder owners. There has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders.

On August 30, the government gave a big relief to the common people from inflation. The government had reduced the price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder by Rs 200. After this, the price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi decreased from Rs 1103 to Rs 903. Whereas in many other cities, the cylinder price had decreased by Rs 200. Apart from this, the LPG gas subsidy available under the Ujjwala scheme has also been increased to Rs 400.
