List of 33 Congress and 83 BJP candidates released of Rajasthan
Gehlot gets ticket from Sardarpura, Pilot from Tonk; Vasundhara will contest elections from Jhalrapatan. BJP released the second list of 83 candidates for Rajasthan on Saturday, October 21. Shortly after this, Congress released the first list of 33 candidates. Vasundhara Raje will contest elections from Jhalrapatan, while the seat of Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore has changed. He has been given ticket from Taranagar instead of Churu. He has already contested elections from Taranagar.

BJP has given ticket to former Udaipur royal family member Vishvaraj Singh Mewar from Nathdwara. He had joined BJP only a few days ago. Congress has fielded current assembly speaker CP Joshi from Nathdwara. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has got ticket from Sardarpura and Sachin Pilot has got ticket from Tonk. Pilot is currently an MLA from Tonk.

On October 9, the Election Commission announced the dates of assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram. After a long wait, on Saturday 21st October, Congress released the first list and BJP released the second list for the assembly elections. BJP has declared candidates for 83 seats in the second list and Congress has declared candidates for 33 seats in the first list. BJP has so far declared tickets on 124 seats out of 200. There are 18 seats where both the parties have revealed their cards. In Laxmangarh, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara will face former BJP MP and minister Subhash Mahariya. In the second list of BJP in Rajasthan, 11 MLAs of Vasundhara faction have been given tickets. These include Kalicharan Saraf from Malviya Nagar, Pratap Singh Singhvi from Chhabra of Kota, Gurdeep Singh Shahpini from Sangaria, Srichand Kripalani from Nimbahera, Abhishek Matoria from Nauhar, Santosh Ahlawat from Surajgarh.
