Lenovo is soon bringing a gaming-oriented tablet, along with a big battery, you will get many more special things
The India launch of the Lenovo Legion tablet has been confirmed. This tablet is already available for sale in global markets. The global variant comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. This tablet has a dual-rear camera setup of 13MP and 2MP sensors and an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper. The same specifications will be given in the India variant as well.
Now, following the launch of the Lenovo Legion Go handheld gaming console on June 27, the brand has confirmed the introduction of a new tablet in the country. A microsite for this device is now live on Flipkart, carrying pre-order details.
This will be the first gaming-oriented tablet to be launched in the country, according to Lenovo. It was launched globally last March.
The company has confirmed that the Lenovo Legion tablet will be available on Flipkart. Pre-orders for the device will start on July 20. Though there's no launch date yet, one can expect an announcement that would only be out closer to the pre-order time. Per the Flipkart microsite, the Lenovo Legion tablet shall have most of its specs identical to its global variant.
It will pack an 8.8-inch display with QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. While a little larger than a Candybar smartphone, it's still smaller than a tablet—the real sweet spot if you want to play handheld mode games.
It is also confirmed to pack a Snapdragon 8+ Generation 1 processor that will incorporate the Legion Coldfront vapor thermal solution to control overheating in the upcoming device.
The Lenovo Legion tablet will come with a 6,550mAh battery backing it and support fast charging. It comes with a USB-C 3.1 Generation 2 port and another, a USB 2.0, for charger and audio output.
The latter also enables DisplayPort 1.4. Otherwise, little is known about the Lenovo Legion tablet at this time. The global variant will feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. At the back is a dual-rear camera setup sporting a 13MP and a 2MP sensor, while on the front is an 8MP front-facing camera readying itself for selfie-snapping duties. The tablet has up to 45W fast charging support.
