According to reports, Jeep is preparing to bring a new SUV to the compact segment of the Indian market. This SUV will be launched as the cheapest SUV of the company. Jeep can build the new SUV on the chassis of a Citroen SUV rather than one of its own.

Jeep's next SUV will be based on the Citroen C3 Aircross platform. This will be straightforward because both companies are members of the Stellantis Group. Citroen introduces the C3 Aircross in India with an ICE engine. The platform of this SUV is also noted for its versatility.

According to the information, Jeep's new SUV will be brought on the C-Cubed platform. In this, the company can give a petrol engine of 1.6 liters capacity. Apart from this, its length can be more than 4.3 meters. Also, many new features can be offered in it.

The company has not yet formally announced this. But it is expected that it can be brought around the ex-showroom price of Rs 15 to 20 lakh. It can be launched in the Indian market in late 2025 or 2026. In the market, it will compete with SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider, Honda Elevate, and Kia Seltos.
