Israel claims - weapons found in UN agency's sacks, action on PIJ bases

The Israeli army has destroyed the underground weapons base of Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It is noteworthy that these weapons were hidden in sacks belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency. The IDF said in a statement related to the case that rockets, anti-tank missiles, mines and explosive materials were hidden inside the sacks. The Israeli army destroyed the materials used to build the rocket. The Israeli Army has also seized many explosive materials including weapons, cartridges, spray charges, and grenades designed for RPG missiles.

Israel said that UNRWA employees were also involved in the attack on Israel on October 7 last year. After this revelation, Israel has demanded that UNRWA be removed from its authority in Gaza. After this, America, the European Union and 16 other countries have suspended funding for the agency. Israel has provided intelligence incriminating 12 employees for their involvement. In which it has been claimed that UNRWA vehicles and many materials have been used in terrorist activities. A media report has also claimed that 10 UNRWA terrorists belong to Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
