The morale of miscreants seems to be increasing in Punjab. Here in Tarn Taran district, a sarpanch who was getting his hair cut was shot dead. After which there has been a stir in the area. Today i.e. Sunday morning, the Sarpanch of Adda Jhabal village of Tarn Taran district, Sarpanch Avan Kumar alias Sonu Cheema was getting his hair cut in a salon in the same village. Meanwhile, two attackers came on a bike and entered the salon started firing indiscriminately and fled from the spot.

After this, nearby people took the victim to the hospital, where he died. There is tension in the area after this incident. People are angry. Let us tell you that Avan Kumar was the Sarpanch of the village for many years, while his brother is a Zilla Parishad member.

The statement of DSP Tarsem Masih came out after the incident. Giving information, he said that the police had reached the spot immediately after the incident. Investigation into the matter has been started. Soon both the accused will be arrested.

It is known that this month some miscreants had shot dead a former Sarpanch in Hoshiapur, Punjab. After which people came out on the streets. In fact, on January 4, Sarpanch Sandeep Singh was shot dead by three people riding a bike.
