Pakistan's cabinet has approved the jail hearing of former PM Imran Khan in the cipher case. This approval has been given after the special court's decision to conduct the proceedings in the jail due to security reasons. Officials were quoted as saying that after the court order, the report of the jail case was presented by the Ministry of Law and Justice, which got the approval of the Cabinet.

Let us tell you that Imran Khan is lodged in Adiala jail since September. Where till last week his hearing was going on in jail. Following the Islamabad High Court's decision, Special Court Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain heard the Cypher case on Tuesday. Imran Khan was not presented due to security reasons. Let us tell you that in the hearing held last week, the court had asked to present Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Mahmood Qureshi.

During the hearing the officials presented a report in the court. In which it was said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan cannot be presented due to security reasons. After hearing the case, the special court gave its order in the next hearing approving the trial inside the jail in the open court. After which the hearing was adjourned till December 1. Let us tell you that the Cypher case was initiated on August 15 and Imran Khan and Qureshi were convicted on October 23. Earlier on Tuesday, the Cabinet had also approved the jail trial against Imran Khan in the Al Qadir Trust corruption cases.
