Today, the Modi government at the Center has given a big gift to the farmers of the country on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. To overcome the problem of subsidized loans and funds to farmers, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar today launched the “Kisan Loan Portal”.

After this portal, it will become easier for farmers to take loans. Developed in collaboration with multiple government agencies, the Kisan Rin Portal provides access to loan services through the Kisan Credit Card.

The Kisan Loan Portal will provide farmers' data, loan distribution information, interest subsidy, and more information about the scheme.

Now the information about those farmers who have taken loans through Kisan Credit Card will be easily available on the Kisan Loan Portal, which will facilitate giving loan subsidies to the farmers.

Apart from the Kisan Loan Portal, today the government has also launched a KCC door-to-door campaign, and Weather Information Network Data System (WINDS).

The objective of the KCC Ghar-Ghar campaign is to extend the benefits of the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme to every farmer across the country. At present, there are about 1.5 crore beneficiaries who are not covered under the KCC scheme.

KCC's door-to-door campaign will run from 1 October 2023 to 31 December 2023. Banks, Panchayat, and district administration will work together in this work so that all the farmers associated with PM Kisan can get Kisan Credit Card in the next three months. Banks have data on farmers associated with PM Kisan. Banks will contact them on that basis.

Farmers associated with PM Kisan who do not have credit cards will be contacted. If the farmer refuses to take KCC, the bank will ask him the reason for this. Then the farmer's problem will be solved.

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the objective of WINDS is to ensure real-time weather information so that farmers can take the right precautions for their crops at the right time.
