Germany has given a big blow to China. Now components made by Chinese companies will not be used in the country's 5G wireless network. Germany gave a big blow to the dragon, banned Chinese devices in 5G wireless network

Germany is preparing to remove components and devices of the Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE from its 5G wireless network within five years. Components made in Germany will be prioritized to expand the 5G network.

German Interior Minister Nancy Feser says, "What we do here is to protect the central nervous system of Germany. We consider this to be necessary with regard to the security of our citizens.".

According to a CNN report, he further added that we have to focus on reducing security risks. Other than this, one-way dependence has to be avoided. In this statement, the German government emphasis was given to strengthening telecommunications as well. The mobile network operators like Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom and Telefonica have agreed to remove components made by Huawei and ZTE from their 5G core networks by the end of 2026.

Mainly this includes components that act as internet or control centers. Apart from this, it was said – these components should be removed from the 5G networks like transmission lines and towers by the end of 2029. Meanwhile, Germany has also said that the interests of Chinese companies in Germany would be taken care of. They will be given every help. Some people right from the beginning took the view that the decision Germany had taken would spoil relations between the two countries.

It was reported that last week, Germany blocked the sale of a unit of Volkswagen in the country while having its security in mind. This was met with Chinese criticism. China is also said to have a trade dispute with the European Union, which increased tariff on Chinese electric cars last June.
