On September 30, when voting was taking place in the US Parliament to pass an important finance bill, suddenly a fire alarm went off. Due to this, there was chaos in the House and the entire building had to be evacuated hurriedly.

However, it was later revealed that this alarm was accidentally raised by Jamal Bowman, an MP from US President Joe Biden's party. Let us tell you that on Saturday, the voting process was going on in the House to save America from the threat of shutdown, and during that time the fire alarm went off in the Congress office building. At present, the US Capitol Police is investigating it.

According to media reports, Democrat leader Jamal Bowman admitted to raising the alarm at the Canon House office building and called it an 'innocent mistake'. When this incident occurred, the voting process was going on in the House and all the employees were working.

The House Administrative Committee, which monitors matters related to the US Capitol complex, released CCTV footage in which a person was seen raising a fire alarm. It was Bowman who was then interrogated. Bowman admitted that he was in a hurry to vote and accidentally pressed the fire alarm button. He has also completely denied the allegations of pressing the button with the intention of stopping the proceedings of the House.

According to media reports, he was opening the door to enter the House, but it was closed, which was usually open. Bowman said that since the door was closed, he pressed the button thinking that the door would open. He didn't know he was going to press a fire alarm button. Now strict action is being demanded against MP Jamal for his intention to stop the proceedings of the House and for pressing the fire alarm.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told reporters on Saturday afternoon that we have seen how people are treated if they have done something wrong in this US Capitol. It will be interesting to see how they are treated. McCarthy has also called for an Ethics Committee investigation, while one Republican is calling for Bowman to be expelled.
