These agents operate through various social media sites including Facebook, WhatsApp, text messages and other such mediums and provide little or no details about their whereabouts and contacts. In a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, it has been said that such agents also lure workers to work in difficult and life-threatening conditions.
