A new report is claiming that AI has now become more powerful than humans. They are so powerful and fast that they can create other AI tools on their own and do not need any human for this. It sounds like something from a science fiction movie but it is true.
According to a report by Business Insider, a team of scientists from MIT and the University of California, along with an AI tech company called Aegip, have created a large AI model that has cracked the code to create smaller AI sidekicks on its own. . Think of it like the elder brother is helping the younger brother, but with an artificial brain.
Aegip CEO Yan Sun told Fox News that mega AI models are being used to create small tools that ChatGPT can use. He said they are using larger models to make smaller models. This is the first step towards the bigger task of self-developed AI. According to Sun, the larger model created the smaller AI model without taking human help.
ChatGPT requires around $7,00,000 i.e. around Rs 5,82,39,125 to run one day, whereas smaller models are very cheap. These are being called TinyMLs. TinyML can be used in facial recognition, home gadgets and hearing aids and similar applications.
